Opening a new ready mixed concrete plant facility requires a lot of focus and planning.
After selecting and developing the property location, Eagle Rock Concrete still had to acquire and configure the plant equipment and train personnel.
Time could not be wasted on a long construction schedule to erect their batch plant office building, so they selected BOXX Modular to provide an office built with modular construction. This decision allowed Eagle Rock Concrete’s management to focus on the key concerns of getting the plant up and running, while we took care of making sure their new office space would be built quickly and ultimately meet their needs for high quality and durable space.

Modular building construction really helped Eagle Rock Concrete, because using this construction methodology kept the site clear of building construction workers while the concrete plant was being installed. The building, comprised of two modules, was constructed in an off-site manufacturing plant then delivered to the facility and installed. Once the building was delivered and installed very little additional work had to be complete, so Eagle Rock Concrete’s workers could occupy the building quickly.
Eagle Rock Concrete decided to have a modular office building installed that is just over 1,000 square feet with the dimensions being 24’ x 44. While the size is relatively small, this building serves as the plant’s nerve center for control systems and administration. Designed to be extremely durable, the exterior is clad with attractively painted ribbed steel. Inside the building corlon flooring was installed and heat welded to form an attractive but more importantly long-lasting finish. A concrete pad was poured to serve as a primary foundation component for the building as well as a parking area.
