After purchasing a modular structure in 2013, a well-known healthcare provider returned to BOXX Modular to help accommodate their growing space needs.

Based in La Pryor, Texas, Vida Y Salud-Health Systems, Inc. is a community health center and migrant health center that offers individuals a wide range of services and care. 

Vida Y Salud-Health Systems, Inc., decided expanding their health center was the best way to meet their communities’ health needs. After a successful first experience with BOXX Modular, they returned to us for additional building modules to seamlessly grow their existing structure. 

After meeting with the client, our team knew continuing care and getting the new spaces set up quickly were of high importance. BOXX Modular seamlessly added a new, interconnected building to the existing structure, allowing Vida Y Salud-Health Systems, Inc. to continue seeing patients safely during the assembly process. This highlights one of the key benefits of modular construction—the flexibility to add or remove modules as needed, at any time. 

BOXX Modular added an 840-square-foot building module, to the existing structure which included the following: 

• Dental operatory room
• Laboratory
• X-ray area
• Triage areas

We also provided updated interior add-ons including cabinets and a sink area.
