In the coastal region of Louisiana, one of our latest endeavors, the McDonough Marine Service project, offers permanent office space, delivering a total of 2,856 sq. ft. of versatile and aesthetically pleasing work environment.

McDonough Marine Service, a family-owned organization, proudly serves clients with one of the United States' largest fleets of inland and ocean barges. They opted for a modular office solution due to its cost-effectiveness and flexibility in design—allowing customization according to the budget and specific preferences.

The modular building features a custom-designed layout incorporating 8 offices, a conference room, and a file room. With 3 restrooms, including one with a shower, alongside a fully equipped kitchen and break area, BOXX Modular ensured a sophisticated and functional workspace.

Utilizing an innovative method, we assembled two ends at a time on the ground, then lifted them by crane onto the barge in two halves.

The modular office building for McDonough Marine Service has been occupied since April 2023 and stands as a testament to the efficiency, sustainability, and adaptability of modular construction.
