This 1,500-square-foot building features exterior details, such as a custom color standing-seam hip roof and vinyl-lap siding. The project also included electrical runs from the main building, data and telecom lines, as well as decks, ramps, sidewalks, and landscaping. The installation of this modular building provided Germanna’s faculty and staff with space they needed much faster than conventional construction could offer. Furthermore, the disturbance to the site and surrounding environment was minimized, since trucks were not frequenting the site with deliveries of building materials.
Established in 1970 Germanna Community College is a two year public institution of higher education. The school is part of the twenty-three community colleges in Virginia’s Community College System.
