Churches around the United States are known for community outreach and helping the needy.
Coker United Methodist in San Antonio, Texas is no different.
They have been running a food pantry located in a 600 square foot building they purchased from BOXX Modular several years ago. The space became too small for the demand, so they decided to expand with a modular building addition in order to accommodate their growing outreach ministry. The church needed BOXX Modular to relocate their existing building to another location on their property and then provide a new 2,700 square foot building that would be attached at the new location on their campus. The recently finished building expanded to 3,600 square feet, provides needy people in the local area with access to a comfortable pleasant facility with plenty of space where they can get food and clothes.

Here is what the church had to say about the project, and working with BOXX Modular:
BOXX Modular worked with us to relocate and construct our new Health/Wellness & Food Pantry Annex… The project included the relocation and remodel of an existing modular building totaling 1,825 square feet that BOXX constructed for us almost 15 years earlier along with the construction of a new 2,880 square foot modular building. In total, the new combined facility was 4,705 square feet.
Over this 2 year period,…BOXX Modular worked with the Building Committee and all the other various church committees to design a facility that met our growing Health/Wellness & Food Pantry ministries. The new facility was welcomed by our church members as well as the 300 plus families we serve on a weekly basis, growing our out-reach into the community we serve. From design to final completion, BOXX Modular’s team was an absolute pleasure to work with. I would definitely use BOXX again.
I would highly recommend BOXX Modular to any business, church or organization looking to construct and install modular buildings on their property.
