Energy Efficiency & Cost Savings
In order to maximize energy efficiency of this modular medical office building, high EER HVAC units were installed in addition to proper zoning throughout the office ensuring conditioning effectiveness. White reflective EPDM roofing was installed to help reduce heat absorption that would normally occur with darker roof coverings. To further reduce energy consumption, insulated reflective glass windows were installed while natural gas and three phase electrical power were used.
This design-build project resulted with an effortlessly flowing layout to ensure optimal staff efficiency and use of space. Exam rooms, kitchen, conference room, and small locker room, are all included to provide the doctors and staff the space they need to adequately perform their responsibilities in caring for patients.
